So here are my predictions for TNA’s Against All Odds PPV that is taking place tonight and boy, do I have very little to say on each match, soooo….

Can I ask you folks something? Why is it that whenever I get a TNA PPV for viewing, it’s almost always the BAD shows? It’s never one of those rare instances where TNA puts out something resembling a quality PPV, but it’s always a show that not only hurts my brain to watch, but also hurts the ol’ wallet. Can I not watch a fucking good PPV from TNA for once? Is it at all possible? I mean, sure, WWE tends to put out some stinkers, but at least the PPVs are largely good and I don’t often complain about the booking unless it’s giving John Worthless more TV time despite getting…

Anyway, let’s get this over with…
Robbie E. defeats four other guys to face X-Division champion Kazarian for the title. Kazarian then beats Robbie E. to retain the title. I’m sure the match is fine, but I’ve seen this match before. I don’t give a crap.
Scott Steiner & Beer Money beat three guys who don’t matter. Again, I don’t give a crap.
Samoa Joe defeats The Pope via submission win. Pope then beats up Joe for a bit before running away. Good lord, this was shit. And that hurts because you’ve got two guys who could usually do good stuff in the ring and instead we get… fuck it, I don’t care.
Knockouts champion Madison Rayne defeats Mickie James in a Last Knockout Standing match to retain the title… I’m sure Mickie James is glad to be part of TNA right about now. Going from being one of WWE’s top Divas to being a job-girl to Madison Rayne. God, this is so stupid.
(2024 Update: Let’s be fair here. When Mickie James left WWE, it was shortly after the whole Piggy James thing because Mickie was anorexically thin enough by WWE standards of the time.)
Rob Van Dam defeats Fatt Lardy in a “I don’t care” match.
(2024 Update: Lots and lots and LOTS of fucking rest holds.)
Brother Ray defeats Brother Devon in another “I don’t care” match. You might be noticing a pattern here.
Jeff Jarrett defeats Kurt Angle in a “Fuck off, this feud sucks” match. Again, this is a case where you have two guys capable of pulling off a good match and yet it hasn’t clicked. Karen’s incessant shrieking isn’t helping matters, either. She could easily rival Stephanie McMahon for the Queen Of Ear Rape crown.
(2024 Update: Clearly not a crown that would be contested in 2024.)
Jeff Hardy defeats TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Anderson in a Ladder Match to win the title, thus ensuring the existence of the Divas title belt for the foreseeable future.
God, this show sucked. It really sucked.
