Here’s how out of touch I am with the current WWE product: there was apparently a PPV last night and I had forgotten about it. Oh well, to make up for the lacks of a predictions sheet, here’re the results:
ECW Champion Jack Swagger defeated Finlay to retain the title.
Shawn Michaels defeated John Bradshaw Layfield in an All-Or-Nothing match to win his contractual buyout. Oh please, the minute they announced that stipulation, a win for HBK was a sure thing.
Randy Orton defeated Shane McMahon is a No-Holds-Barred match.
In the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship, Triple H defeated champion Edge, Undertaker, Vladimir Kozlov, Jeff Hardy, and Big Show to win the title. Big surprise there (sarcasm).
In the Elimination Chamber match for the World Title, Edge defeated champion John Cena, Chris Jericho, Kane, Rey Mysterio, and Mike Knox to win the title… genuinely surprised somewhat… not by Edge winning, but by Cena losing…
Oh well, that’s it.
