DTM BLOG Classics #08 – Fill In The Blanks And Other Updates

2019 Update: So, this is a gimmick where RAW was moving from Spike TV to USA Network and Spike was censoring any and all mentions of USA Network, which is hilarious. Mind you, I’ve pretty much killed the joke of this post by explaining it, but without context, somebody in the distant future wouldn’t understand a joke from 2005.

In any event, on with the update:

While it means nothing to Canadians who watch RAW, last night’s airing of WWE RAW was the final show to air on ________. Next week, the show returns to the ___________, where WWE was before they moved to ___, which is now known as ________. Of course, anyone who saw the show at certain points noticed that lines of dialogue were muted and there were points where technical difficulties were experienced. As it turned out, ________ censored the show to leave out any mention of ___________. Of all the things to censor…

In other news, WWE’s Byte This net show is something I watch once in a blue moon, whenever there’s really good content on. But this week’s show, featuring a hilarious imitation of the __________ ___________, is worth checking out just for that.

You noticed that I blocked out _________ _________ from this blog entry. I’m not going to lie to you; ________ is censoring this report to remove any mention of the name __________ ___________. Unlike their RAW broadcast, DTM… er, I mean, _______ has an easier time, since I don’t particularly wish to dignify the goof (whom I was NEVER a fan of in any shape or form) any more than I already have.

Now, then… moving on to other non-wrestling updates:

To break off with the recent tread of wrestling posts that have infected this blog recently, I’ll be changing gears and discuss some issues pertaining to my multiple online presences.

The DTM Blog might get a facelift in the near-future. This might not relate to the Blog itself, but the housing site around it. More as it develops.

I’m in the process of regaining a feel for the Games Factory/Multimedia Fusion interfaces and I’m hoping to churn out a couple little games for a few friends. Maybe if they turn out alright, I might post them online. The method is being debated.

Webstation bugs have been fixed, it’s just a matter of uploading the new pages. There are a couple changes planned, but they’re minor and nothing too strainious (SP) that they require the site to be closed off.

As far as fanfiction goes, I’ll try and finish off the in-progress fic Zero Hour this coming week and then I won’t be posting again until sometime in November. The time will be used to build up some fiction stock, so I don’t get caught with the pants down again. Future plans are being debated, but I’m hoping to get started on the ZH follow-up trilogy called The Roads. There might a couple non-PR fics thrown in for good measure.

Last weekend was supposed to be the opening of the Twisted Realm of DTM site, but that got delayed because I was still wondering about the content. It’ll probably open before Halloween.

Just recently picked up Capcom Classics Collection for my X-Box. A full review is forthcoming on the Webstation in the near future (along with a couple other compilation sets that I’ve already had for some time), but suffice to say, this is a fairly good collection for anyone who has enjoyed some of Capcom’s arcade titles.

Before anyone asks, no, I will not be picking up the _________ __________ DVD.

On that note, I’ll post predictions tomorrow.

(2019 Note: I did eventually pick up the _________ _________ DVD… and boy, am I glad that I did.)
