Let’s get this over with.
Rocky beats down Goldberg in Atlanta. Triple H escapes another World title match. The Kliq are in the main event. Roddy Piper wrestles Rikishi! And all these wonderful chain of events are supposed to get me to buy the Pay-Per-View this coming Sunday? Yeesh, good thing some other jabroni in a bar nearby is picking this up and not me. Heh heh heh…
By the way, Jeff Hardy has been fired from WWE. We shall never know Imag-I-Nation ever again… or is it Imagi-Nation? No, wait. Maybe it’s IMAGI-nation… WHO CARES? (He’d be back a couple years later for another run that includes a WWE Title win before migrating to TNA where he currently resides.)
Last weekend’s Easter festivities were nothing particularly special. It’s the same thing we do whenever we celebrate an occasion that isn’t someone’s wedding, Christmas, or New Year’s. We buy take-out from KFC and enjoy each other’s company. That’s all there is to it. And oh yeah, we went to mass too. How could I honestly forget that?
Last week’s TMNT episode (the first I’ve seen in a couple of weeks – shame on me) featuring the TMNT fight with the Shredder (the TMNT baddie for those who don’t know) was, in retrospect, fine. It’s not exactly a highlight, especially considering we knew slightly how the fight would end… but hey who cares?
Last week, I mentioned I finished “The Weapon” and started work on “Plague”. I would have posted the final chapter by now, but then I noticed the shit load of mistakes in that final chapter, particularly the ending. So I had to redo that little bit there. The one thing I found constant in my submissions was some minor spelling mistakes that shouldn’t have gone past me, but I’m using Netscape to write this crap, where spelling mistakes are not made obvious. “Plague” is where I’m using Frontpage as a viable text editor… I heard this thing does web pages too. Don’t ask. (Seriously, don’t ask. Especially now since I have no recollection of these things.)
I’ve probably mentioned that I’ve read somewhere that Van Damme is rumored to be working on the sequel to the 1994 Street Fighter movie that sucked ass. In retrospect, at least that movie was relatively watchable. It couldn’t have been anymore worse than the Super Mario flick that was made earlier. (I enjoyed the Street Fighter movie and thought it was a fun bit of cheese. The same cannot be said for The Legend Of Chun-Li.)
The Backlash PPV is tonight… so I’ve put up predictions. Less than meaty today because I haven’t a witty comment.
Later.
